From the Chair- We are back......
Every year I always say that the last years Gala was the best!.....However, as we all know, the COVID pandemic prevented our Gala (and all the other Galas). So we were determined that it was not going to stop us again......but with the uncertainty of this latest lockdown we decided to move this years Hunslet Community Gala to early September, with...... ......the hope that the country will be more back to normal and we can still hope that the weather will be kind to us. So Satuday 11th September is now, and for this year only, will be GALA DAY.....we will I imagine still have to have some social distancing and protective processes in place, but I do believe that these processes will be with us for some time. I just the other day commented that my 3 year old grandson is growing up in this facemask and hand sanitiser enviroment and when he gets older, he would probably see it as normality.
